Emily Hyde, MPH *

Program Manager, Wisconsin Population Health Service Fellowship, Population Health Institute

Emily Hyde (previously Emily Lynch) (she/her) is the Program Manager for the Wisconsin Population Health Service Fellowship Program, which sits within the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (PHI). Emily is a fellow alum of the Wisconsin Population Health Service Fellowship, where she was dual placed at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Division of Public Health and the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Emily has also had opportunities to work with the Wisconsin Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, Covering Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Area Health Education Centers, where she acquired valuable insight into methods of community engagement and Wisconsin’s public health infrastructure. While in grad school, Emily worked in social epidemiology research that focused on measuring social and structural drivers of health. Her research explored childhood lead exposure in Milwaukee, structural racism and redlining, and the health impacts of childhood adversity. Emily holds a Master in Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with certificates in Global Health and African Studies from the University of Wisconsin- Madison
