Melissa Umland Olson

2006-2008 Cohort

Melissa received her MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Population Health Sciences. Melissa was placed with the Southern Regional Office of the Division of Public Health, where she was engaged with a range of training and technical assistance activities with state and local public health. This included responding to public health emergencies such as floods, monitoring local preparedness exercises, conducting vaccine program site visits, and preparing epidemiological data for counties' health needs assessments. The Wisconsin Population Health Service Fellowship is an initiative of the UW Population Health Institute’s Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH) Group. The Fellowship program is funded by the Wisconsin Partnership Program at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
