Jameela Ali

2014-2016 Cohort

Jameela received her MPH degree from the Indiana University of Fairbanks School of Public Health in 2010/ She then went onto complete the yearlong Graduated Health Administration Training Program with the Veterans Health Administration in 2011. Following this experience, Jameela served as a freelance technical advisor for various nonprofits, both locally and globally for three years. She completed her second year of the Fellowship with the Wisconsin Center for Public Health Education and Training, focusing on strengthening the public health system by improving public health workforce capacity in Wisconsin. Her first year of the Fellowship was completed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Global Health institute, focusing on quality improvement initiatives. Post Fellowship: Jameela is currently exploring other lands and opportunities to improve the lives of girls and women in low-resource settings.
